Reaching the target audience through digital communication.

BACKGROUND

Coates & Seely was set up in 2009 by two friends determined to make an English sparkling wine to rival Champagne, and they succeeded.  Coates & Seely now holds a host of awards for sparkling wines and some of the highest wine scores from the likes of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.  The wine is made from grapes grown at their Hampshire vineyards and is, without doubt, delicious.

The BRIEF

When lockdown hit, it hit the hospitality industry hard.  Coates & Seely wanted to let their loyal clients and followers know that even if their favourite bars and restaurants were closed, C&S were still busy, the grapes were still growing and the wine awaiting its day in the sun.

The solution

Founder Directors Nicholas Coates and Christian Seely started a lyrical Vineyard Diary all about the background to C&S, how they were getting through the lockdown (with delicious cocktails of course) and how the vineyard was faring.

Inkwire were charged with digital communication, representing the brand and sending out newsletters to the thirsty clients. And they proved a huge success, and importantly, a great sales tool.
